Mechanic/Installer-Alpena
We are currently interviewing mechanics for a full-time position at our Alpena location. Qualified applicants must have the ability to perform general repairs to trailers and truck-mounted equipment. Applicants with either Michigan Department of State mechanic certifications or ASE certifications in the areas of Heavy Duty Brakes, Suspensions, Electrical, and Drive train will be given preference. At a minimum we require a Michigan Department of State trainee permit. Interested applicants should have good welding skills, a working knowledge of electrical wiring of trucks and trailers, general mechanic skills, and a proven desire to work. The job does not involve engine or transmission work. Full benefits are paid by Scientific after 90 days of employment.
